Wolves legend Steve Bull has spoken of his love for Liverpool FC and how he hopes Kenny Dalglish can bring success to Anfield.
"I've always been a massive armchair Liverpool fan," he revealed ahead of today's clash between the two sides.
"In the late 70s and 80s Liverpool were the best team around and I loved watching them play.
"Ian Rush was my idol and I always wanted to be like him. I've had the pleasure of playing with him in a few charity games over the years which was amazing for me.
"It's been sad to see Liverpool struggle this season but I'm sure things will turn for them soon. I want to see them back where they were."
However, Bull will be torn between two loves this weekend, as Liverpool go up against Wolves in the Barclays Premier League, with the Reds looking for revenge after a 1-0 loss at Anfield in December.
"Obviously I'm gold and black through and through but I always check Wolves' score first and then Liverpool's second," said Bull.
"I just hope they don't start a winning run until after this weekend. It should be a cracker and I can see it finishing honours even."
Bull will be at Molineux for the game in his role as Wolves vice-president as Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool side look to secure three points in front of the travelling fans.
Speaking about the appointment of Dalglish as caretaker manager, Bull said: "Turning to Kenny is a very smart appointment. He loves the club and knows everything there is to know about the place.
"I think it's a good time to play Liverpool. Kenny has come in and is still trying to get his ideas across to the players. I'm sure he will turn Liverpool around but he's still getting settled in.
"I don't think it matters that Kenny's been out of management for so long. You never lose it and I'm sure he will be there for a long time.
"The players and supporters are right behind him and that makes a big difference."
